Summer2009
The sun is non existent today. Oh, I may write an ode but right now what is keeping me happy is the fact that it is summer, sun, sand and surf! Brading hair by the lake, staying up till late and not freezing my arse off! Bohemian, festival, 80's denim...I'm particularly in L.O.V.E with 80's denim at the moment combined with acid wash tops. Hmmm, that gives me an idea for today's outfit. Will post

Currently Craving Chic.
I LOVE RUMI! How can I not? Still can't find that cord so more inspirational pictures for you. Btw does anyone know how to get these pictures bigger, i'm clicking large but they look medium to me!?! The summer sun is still shining through my window at 7:26pm. I am so glad summer is finally upon us. I feel like hitting the beach and smelling of sea salt. Ahhh....Unfortunately, still got History AS

2000 Ebay Feedbacks Reached!
As I focus on the day to day webstore logistics from sourcing to shipping the clothes, the number of ebay feedbacks is often the furthest from my mind. But today marks the day my webstore garners its 2000th feeback rating...woohoo! It's not a big number, and it's quite a lot of work and time invested (alsmot 4 years now to be exact), patience, persistence, a few personal sacrifices here and there. Most importantly, without my fellow fashionistas I wouldn't be here. So thank you thank you to all who have shopped at "Ganguro Fashion Store"! Winly, Kathy, Aneta, Rony, Stephy, Vicki, Felix, Jerrilyn, Angela, Jennelyn, and many more (there's so many of you regulars so forgive me if I forget to mention you), thank you all so much for being the constant support and please leave a comment if you can to let me know you're reading this blog as well. You don't have to, but it would totally make my day!
Here's to 2000! And this is for ya all.

Woah it has been a while.
Sorry once again (this time in English), exam stress has got the better of me, just one more to go though. I will post some outfits soon, I donned the cute peg leg trouser look the other day in the summer heat so keep your eyes peeled for that. In the meantime, check at Alexa Chung at the glamour awards, isn't she just a sight for sore eyes, missed her since she has been spending ALL her time in
Shopping Diary: Night Market Earrings & Bangles Haul
I went to the night market on Sunday, in search of a nice pair of short shorts. I really want one right now. It would have to go with all the Summer tops I own. But I ended up buying a set of earrings and too many bangles.

This is a shopping center at the night market. Inside are lots of small boutiques. This is one of my favorite places to shop in the city. All the nice boutiques are concentrated here and housed under one roof, so convenient! You'll hear more details on a few of my favorite boutiques soon, I promise!

Jenny in Town
This past Thursday was the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, which is celebrated by the Taiwanese. Everyone got a 4-day long weekend off. Jenny, one of a few high school friends I still keep in touch came into town to visit. For two days, hubby was nice enough to drive us around and took us sightseeing around the city. The weather was soooo unbearably hot over the weekend, which is the norm for this time of year. But it was nice hosting Jenny and seeing areas of the city that I've not been to.
The Harajuku of Taiwan:I-Chung Street! Have you seen this many people on the street!!

I-Chung Street is packed with street snacks popular with the young crowd. My favorite is a whole baked potato w/ meat (vegie) of your choice topped with melted cheese!! Yum!

We also toured Brand's museum (Brand's as in Brand's Chicken Essence). They've got a pretty huge factory here.. hmmm looks like their chicken essence is in demand here because people over here work very hard.

We chilled with some bubble tea at a tea house just before Jenny took off by high speed rail.

Here's a quick snap of my outfit in the lady's room at a deparment store. Sorry for the covered face. (I'm really not good at taking photos of myself.) I promise to do better next time ^^
